After getting several reports about logo's not displaying with their correct dimensions it was time to investigate the problem.
Yesterday I got the first screenshot sended to me that was really useful.
The problem only existed when you're browsing Hattrick with IE6 or earlier, and some reported even IE7 had the problem.
Today I investigated more as the problem really is a pain for a lot of the users here.
The real problem is IE itself, they have the well known PNG transparency bug, and Hattrick implemented a workaround for it in the dotnetification.
This workaround was the reason our logo's started displaying with the wrong dimensions.
Till here the story why, now onto a fix.
As the Hattrick png fix searched for .png files to fix, we are forced to not use the .png extension, and therefor I've changed the files to .png2 (which is actually nonexistent.)
So to get your logo back in proportion, change the logo url to the new url with the .png2 extension, and everything will be fine again :)

After receiving some mails about donations that didn't registered, I've been looking into the problem and it seems paypal isn't receiving the teamid anymore so I'll look into that.
For people that donated after 25 january, can you please send me an HT-Mail containing the email address with which you've donated.

It's today, and therefor I've been generous to add all the people that still became my supporter after I've closed the floodgates.
This is a one time gift of me, but I expect to accept you all again in February (I hope).

Please don't mail any person other then ME about flaglogo accounts.
I am the ONLY person that can access them, remove them, update them or create them.
Also try to search for your answer first because there are a lot of questions coming to me these days.

The new logo rating feature in hattrick isn't much more than a resource hog, and you'll have already noticed it.
For that reason flagcreator has taken some steps to make it still reasonable for their users, because you'll have already noticed the "service unavailable" message more than once.
Therefor we have:
1) Redirected normal site usage to http://v3.flagcreator.org
2) Rewritten the update queue script (and it was neccesary :o)
3) (The point I don't like much, but it's like it is) Disabled the possibility to get a flagcreator account in exchange of a supporterslot. The only possibilities now will be:
- Using a promocode
- Becomming supporter (donator)
Untill I find a better solution, things will stay like stated above :(
